Steven Ginn Architects is a full-service architecture and interior design firm, specializing in the design of new homes and residential remodels, as well as commercial, religious, and retail spaces.

Omaha Architect, Steven Ginn Architects has projects nationwide, our experience ranges in style from traditional to contemporary and modern, in scale from furniture design to multi-million dollar residences and commercial complexes, and in geography from downtown Omaha to the hilltops of Tennessee and the mountains of South Dakota. As a small firm, we have the ability to provide hands-on, personal attention from start to finish. We are committed to carefully listening and responding to our clients’ needs and wishes while using our expertise and creativity to help them build their dreams.

Founding Principal

A native of Omaha, Steven Ginn earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Kansas, followed by a Master of Architecture from Washington University in St. Louis. Before founding his own firm, Steven spent time documenting and learning from indigenous architecture in numerous countries across Africa, Asia, and Europe. He also worked in Italy, assisting in the design and restoration of castle estate houses.

Steven gained experience in the United States with several large, award-winning architecture firms, designing at a variety of scales including churches, schools, libraries, and commercial facilities. Since starting his own firm in 2005, his focus has been on residential projects, remodels, and outbuildings, as well as small cultural and commercial projects. In addition to his day-to-day architectural work, Steven has taught architecture and design classes at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He is a licensed architect with over 20 years of experience in the field, an avid photographer, and an enthusiastic soccer dad.

Jeremy Emerson

Originally from Columbus, Nebraska, Jeremy Emerson received a Master of Architecture and a Master of Community and Regional Planning from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Before joining Steven Ginn Architects, Jeremy spent two years designing high-profile projects at Foster + Partners' London office where he gained experience on high-end residential, cultural, and commercial projects for clients in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and the United States.

He left Foster + Partners to develop a prototypical design for low-cost, expandable housing units with a Fulbright Grant in Guadalajara, Mexico and to design original, site-specific, cost-effective, and high-energy performance homes in rural Nebraska. Jeremy joined Steven Ginn Architects in 2010. He is a licensed architect.
